Today we tagged along with daddy to a neighboring city. While he was in a business meeting we took in some new surroundings.
We found an old Presbyterian church constructed in 1885 that has now turned into a museum.
Sadly it wasn't open but we explored a little bit of it from the outside.
I love old hardware. So detailed and full of character.
It is now spring and the warmth is returning.
We love to be outside in the sun.

Nightmares and Fairy Tales
This is my latest custom for a dear friend. She wanted a custom doll inspired by Annabelle. A character in the Nightmares and Fairy Tales book series.
(The illustration is not mine)
Annabelle is a rag doll that is believed to be cursed and that whoever falls into possession of her is sometimes cursed themselves.
She has been stitched with love.
I even altered a dress and made the bow, which is a first for me. I am not good at the sewing skills. I usually have someone else make the clothes for my custom dolls.
I enjoyed creating this dark little princess.

Green Smoothies
I have really tried this past year to have better eating habits for my family.
This green smoothie is a usual breakfast around here.
The basic ingredients are-
1 cup of 100% Orange Juice
A handful of leafy green spinach
A handful of frozen blueberries
1 banana
3 Tablespoons of ground flaxseed
3 Tablespoons of Agave Necter
Every now and then we mix it up a little and add strawberries or raspberries.
My girls guzzle these smoothies down. It is a great way to get some vegetables in without them knowing.

Dallin and Camille Engagements
My little brother is getting married (to an awesome girl even). He is all grown up and stuff. But I will forever remember him as a two year old playing with my Snow White and the seven dwarfs plastic figurines.
More engagement photos to come.

We Have A Basement
Look! We have a basement!
Here is hoping we keep up the hard work and will be able to move in by fall.
